Information we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, area of interest, and message. Messages are delivered to us by email through our form service, Web3Forms, and saved in our secure Airtable database so we can follow up. We also note which language you were viewing the site in, so we can reply in that language when possible.
• Donations: donations are processed securely by Donorbox and its payment processors. We receive your name, email, donation amount, and any information you choose to share. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
• Newsletter: if you sign up, your email address is saved in our Airtable database and stored by our newsletter provider, beehiiv, which sends the newsletter.
• Translation: if you choose a language other than English from the language menu, the page is translated by Google Translate. Google receives the page text and standard technical data such as your IP address, and a cookie named googtrans remembers your language choice. If you keep the site in English, no Google service is loaded. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Videos: our videos are hosted on YouTube. An embedded video loads from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play; YouTube and Google may then receive standard technical data and set cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Display settings: if you turn on high-contrast mode, that choice is saved only in your own browser. It is never sent to us.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider, Vercel, may log standard information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited to keep the site secure and working.

What we don’t do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not show advertising on this website. We share information only with the service providers listed above, to do the work you asked for, or when required by law.

• Ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults — families, educators, donors, and partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and we rely on reputable providers to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
